Daija Lawson is just like any other 5th grade girl – she loves animals and dreams of traveling.  It’s harder for her, however, because she spends so much time doing chemotherapy treatments because she has a rare form of leukemia.

That hasn’t stopped her from her dreams, and with the community’s support, we’ll send her on that Disney cruise vacation she’s been hoping for!  Come by the clinic anytime for special, homemade treats for pets and people, handmade bracelets, and the 2 events in early February – Tuesday the 4th from 6-8 for ‘paw’dicures, and Saturday the 8th from 1-5 p.m. for a raffle and a FREE portrait from a pet photographer!

We’re also pleased to update you on Hawkeye, our kitten.  We ended up successfully removing the infected eye and he’s found a new home, where he is happily driving them crazy instead of our office girls!  What a perfect beginning of the rest of his life for such a sweet kitty.
